Yves Bourgeon went to Laddakh for the first time in 1975. He has been accompanying trips since 1980. Passionate about India, which he visited frequently for the past forty years, he has studied different spiritual dharmic traditions: Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa for Tibetan Buddhism, BKS Iyengar and Kaivalyadhama Center for Yoga, SN Goenka for Vipassana meditation.

His working as a guide was also quite diversified: he started with Nouvelles Frontires to diversify then with Apsara, Ananta and Equinox (from Switzerland). He also collaborated to build and support long stays in India for the groups of students of the Religions Sciences Department of UQAM (University of Quebec in Montreal).Yves speak Hindi too.
