I am 64. I am married and with my wife Catherine we have 3 children and 3 adorable grand-children. We live in France in a countryside village, 60kms south of Paris.

After studying engineering, I spent most of my career working for the Paris public transport company and am now retired. I mainly managed teams which grew bigger and bigger along the years and in order to cope with the stress of my job; I discovered hatha-yoga around the age of 30.

Due to professional hardships, I decided to organize an early retirement and devote myself to yoga and spirituality. After a 4-year training I became a yoga teacher and have been teaching for 6 years around Fontainebleau. I practice a form of yoga known as yoga of energy which I learned from Roger Clercs disciples, its founder, and I have recently become involved in the training of future yoga teachers.

At the same time I followed the teaching of Arnaud Desjardins. I first read his books and then made several stays in his ashram in Hauteville in South of France. This teaching is based on the Vednta as Arnaud received if from Ma Anandamayi and Swami Prajnanpad.

All these practices quite naturally attracted me to India which I discovered thanks to spiritual travels with Jacques Vigne and then on my own with the help of Dinesh Sharma and the travel agency Teerth Travels. I am in love with this country, its inhabitants, its sacred mountains and rivers, its gods and spiritual riches which I had the pleasure of discovering during several tours in the north of India and, recently, during stays in ashrams.

Since 2012 I have regularly attended the Ramakrishna Mission Vedantic Center which is located in Gretz-Armainvilliers, 30kms from Paris. I have become an assiduous member and passionately follow the teaching of Swami Veetamohananda.
